The MSC1604 micro encoder can be directly connected to the probe wedge without the need for any tools, detecting along the weld seam and outputting high-precision encoded information. It can be used for positioning insufficient positions and measuring length. Suitable for testing flat plate welds and pipe outer diameter welds.

Functional features:

• IP68 waterproof rating;

• The encoder resolution is 43 steps/mm;

• Probe wedge block with rubber clamping and anti slip design on both sides of the arm;

• The encoder wheel set adopts anti slip design;

• The encoder can be directly applied to OMNISCAN instruments using DB interface or LEMO interface, and can also be customized for mainstream phased array instruments such as FocusLT, Dynaray, MultiX, Prisma UT, etc.
